We like to help – so we compiled all the very best nursery themes for your little for 2019 just for you. On our board you will find different styles – which style do you feel drawn to?

The minimalism trend

This style has been around for a while but is here to stay. If you like to keep your home clean and simple, then this could be the one for you. Think black, grey and white rooms, monochromatic décor or neutral tones. Less is the keyword here, the minimalist trend is well, less of everything; less clutter, less toys, less furniture and more for a relaxing space in the early days to feed, change and sleep. So, think about what colours you like and make you feel relaxed. As this ultimately will be the best outcome for parents and your little one. You choose your accessories, check out the board for inspiration. Try to think ahead in terms of furniture and invest in pieces that will last you as your little one grows. We think it is lovely to keep certain pieces if possible as you will always have nice memories – even if it does seem like Groundhog Day in those early days. It will pass!

Jewel-tone colours

Jewel tone-colours may seem a bit overwhelming but there is a knack to it. Please see our Pinterest board for how to do it right – you do not need to go all out. They can add a rich and warm feeling and bring a modern Bohemian vibe to your little one’s nursery. Sapphire Blue is associated with serenity and loyalty and is a top choice to colour block with complementary colours like Emerald Green for example. Emerald Green has an alluringly earthy, mysterious quality to it.

Feeling bold? Ruby Red is enough to make your baby’s nursery warm and pretty.

Natural theme

Are you thinking of bringing nature to your nursery – such as plants? These can look really striking and add a relaxed feel to any room. (pick something you love, is baby-friendly and something easy to care for). Lack of space? Put a small hanging plant as the decoration element. Perhaps you are wanting to add elements made of natural fibres? Think washing or storage basket – the perfect natural addition to your little one’s nursery.
